Hicks Invited to ‘Mullen’s JC Top 100 Camp’

Dequan Hicks, a 6’7’’ forward from Racine, WI, has been invited to participate in the prestigious ‘Mullen’s JC Top 100 Camp’ on July 9th and 10th. The junior college camp in comprised of the top 100 returning sophomore in the country and will take place on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. The camp provides an unparalleled opportunity to compete against the best players in the nation and gain maximum exposure for recruiting.
As a freshman at New Mexico Junior College, Hicks was voted to the WJCAC All-Conference Team. Hicks finished the season averaging 11.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He shot a remarkable 63% from the field, and contributed 45 assists, averaging 1.8 per game.
Hicks was just one of four players in the WJCAC to rank among the 'Top 10' in scoring and rebounding, and was the only player in the conference to finish in the ‘Top 10’ in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots during conference play. In his final 19 games, Hicks scored in double figures in 15 of those contests.
He led the Thunderbirds in scoring, rebounding, field goals made, field goal percentage, and offensive rebounds. He was second on the team in steals, blocked shots and free throws attempted.
