Lady T-Bird Baketball Conference Honors

The NMJC Women's Basketball team received four standout conference awards. Samantha O'Shields and Hanka Musa were named to the All Conference team while Jordan McGee and Trayvia Hart were named All Conference Honorable Mention. The awards were earned during what was the most successful season in eight years. The lady T-Birds reached the Region 5 Tournament. Though they dropped a hard fought first round game to Collin County, the coaching staff is proud of the effort, and feels good about the future of the program. Three of the four honored players are only freshman.
